Cake. Lots and lots of sugary cake covered in sweet, sweet icing. With a copy of the Alvin Richard painting and the NASPA logo printed onto the top.

At the Newcomers' prize ceremony, Liam Chew won $35 at his debut event with a 3-1 +382 record; Nick Abbate $25 with 1-3 -129; local student Quentin Cherriere a set of NASPA tiles and bag with an 0-4 -253 record. Thank you to Betty Bergeron (Calgary AB), Doug Murray (Sackville NB), Dave Krook (Mississauga ON) and Noella Ward (Calgary AB) for filling out the schedule and permitting the event to be raetd.
