Local media are showing up today, print and television.

Shan Abbasi (Mississauga ON) noticed that the player who had set up the adjudication laptop for CSW had set it to TWL2016 instead of CSW2015. I checked with the other players who might have been affected, and found that Tony Leah (Toronto ON) had just lost a challenge on a CSW-only word, that his opponent Winter's (Houston, TX) clock was running on his next turn. After consulting with the rules, observing that they were ambiguous as to when Tony's right to a readjudication expired, I followed the general principle that wrongs should be righted where possible, and asked Tony to check the word (JILGIES#) again. I gave Winter an additional five minutes of clock time, to compensate for the "over three minutes" that the players said his clock had been running on his current turn.
