Prize Ceremony

We had a short and sweet awards ceremony right after the third game finished. Since part of the fun was picking a prize from the prize table, John Chew called the winners up from top to bottom (instead of bottom to top, as in most events).

The two finalist teams, both undefeated, will get a chance to play in Monday’s best of two: Zoe & Mireille BWMR (Bowmore) and Eric & Evan JMNR (Jack). They will win a set of trophies on Monday: will they be silver or gold?

Third place was also announced, Evan & Ben BWMR (Bowmore). In the off-chance one of the other teams is unable to attend Monday’s finals, then there is a team ready to take that spot!

The students were able to nominate the team they thought showed the best sportsmanship. And the winners: Harman & Navroop FLCR (Fletcher's). Many of us think this is the best award to win!

The best Canadian words were LAKES (played by Karanvir & Aayam FLCR (Fletcher's)) and MAPLE (played by Victoria & Paneet FLCR (Fletcher's).

All the students were invited to Monday’s finals. I think I know at least four who will be there!
